the 2 acre playground. Families, groups, and
friends get together for a good old fashioned
water balloon toss, frisbie golf, game of
croquet, and any number of other activities
suited to this lush grassy playground. |

| Rafting on the Truckee is a popular summer
activity for both the casual relaxing floater, or
the more advenurous on a white water tour with
one of the local commercial outfitters who meet
just outside the Park. And, of
course, the local lakes and streams offer
fabulous fishing, as many guests have
discovered. |

When the snow falls, families get out their
sleds,
tobaggans and cross country skis, as there are
plenty of places to enjoy the fresh snow both in
the Park, and in nearby resorts and snow
parks....for free! |
